Marco Polo Accessibility
We're dedicated to connecting users in a fun and meaningful way. Our number one purpose is to bring family and friends closer through conversations and shared moments. We want you to have the best possible experience in doing this, which is why accessibility for the Marco Polo community is very important to us!
Here's some information on a few features that are meant to enhance the accessibility of the app:
- Voice Over - allows you to record voice-only Polos (perfect for times when you don’t feel camera-ready)
- Un-Mirroring the Image - "flip" your selfie camera so that images don't appear mirrored (i.e. for those using sign language, teaching someone to play guitar, showing off the slogan on that new T-shirt, etc.)
- Optimization of Bluetooth hearing aids - enables optimal connection to Bluetooth hearing aid
- Closed Captioning- You can tap on the Polo you’d like to play and once it’s playing, tap on the "cc" icon to turn on closed captioning. To toggle it off, you'll simply tap on "cc" once more. If it's in use, it will be highlighted in white.
- Mute Playback Audio- Polo will play silently and enable closed captions
We're always looking to improve and would love to hear your feedback or any suggestions you may have on how to make the app more accessible.
