Admin Settings

The creator of a Group is the Group Admin with access to the Group Settings, which can be found by tapping on the t hree dots next to the group chat tile> selecting  Edit Group >  Group Settings
Within the  Group Settings you’ll find several options of managing group members or personalizing your group via a welcome message:
To control who can be added and removed from your group, you can turn on  Restrict Group.
Enabling this will restrict other members from changing the group name, chat tile or adding/ removing anyone within the group.
To personalize your group, even more, you can add a Welcome  Message. 
To do this: 
1. Tap on the three dots next to your group chat tile 
2. Select Edit Group
2. Tap on Group Settings
3. Tap Record Welcome Message
Once you’ve recorded a message all users will be prompted to watch the message upon joining the group. If you record a new welcome message, all users will be prompted to watch the message upon their next time opening the group.
If you'd like to invite a people to your Marco Polo™ Group, you may want to use a Group link.
To invite someone using Group Link:
  1. Tap on the three dots next to the group chat tile
  2. Select Edit Group
  3. Select Invite via Group Link
  4. Tap Share Link or Copy Link
  5. Share your Group Link wherever you'd like!
  6. Anyone who has Marco Polo®️ installed can tap on the link to access your Group. If they don't have the app, they'll need to download it before the link will work. Only share it with people you trust. 
Additionally, users are able to assign Admin Status to another Group member.
To do this:
  1. Tap on three dots next to the group chat tile
  2. Select Edit Group
  3. Scroll thru the list of members on the Group Info screen
  4. Pick a member and tap Make a Group Admin
